The Promise

A beautiful pool.
Honestly priced.
Installed in days.

Most pool companies hand you a catalog and walk you through a 3D rendering before they tell you the price.

We do it the other way around.

Seventeen manufacturer-backed fiberglass pools, each with one honest starting price — everything a working, beautiful pool needs already included. Once permits clear and the shell arrives, installation is measured in days. And when you want the magazine finish, our hand-fit natural stone Signature is quoted straight to your exact pool.

That's the whole offering. By design.

The Collection

Our pools, and what they start at.

Every pool below is a manufacturer-backed fiberglass shell — installed in days, not months — finished to a clean, move-in-ready standard. The price shown is our honest starting point for that pool on a buildable lot: no teaser number, no bait. Prefer hand-fit natural stone coping and deck? That's our Signature finish — quoted to your exact pool.

Honest Guidance

How to choose your pool.

Seventeen models is a lot of good options. Here's the honest way to narrow it down — four questions, and you're most of the way home.

1 · Start with your space

The lot decides the size. A tight yard or lake cottage doesn't rule you out — it just points you at the right model.

  • Small lot / cottage: the Plunge collection — Little Dipper & Thinking Inside the Box, from $55,000
  • Room to stretch: the Lagoon, Rectangular, and Roman models
  • Sloped or lakefront lot: ask about the optional Infinity Edge
2 · Tanning ledge, or all swim?

A shallow shelf for loungers and little ones — or every square foot given to the water. Both are here.

  • Built-in ledge: Shelf Life, Ledge-endary, H2Oasis, Shelf Indulgent, and more
  • All swim: The Long Game and the eight-foot-deep Deep South
  • Walk-in beach entry: Shore Enough & Wading for the Weekend
3 · Pool only, or pool + spa?

Cool off, warm up, or both. A few of our models build a real spa right into the shell.

  • Integrated spa: the Hot Spot collection — Tropic Like Its Hot, Simmer Down, Some Like It Hot
  • Pool-first: every other model in the lineup
  • Add-on heat: a heater is a simple upgrade on any pool

Custom natural stone edging hand-fitted around a True South pool
The Signature Detail

Hand-fit natural stone.
The Signature finish.

Most pool companies finish a vinyl liner with aluminum coping. It's cheaper. It's faster. It also tells the world exactly what you spent.

Choose the Signature finish and your pool is edged in custom natural stone, hand-fitted in place — coping, deck, the works. No two installs look identical. It's the line on your pool that says somebody cared.

Why We Exist

A few years ago,
from a Lake Oconee living room.

John and Nicole owned a home on Lake Oconee. They decided to build the pool they'd always wanted. They called every builder in the region.

Every consultation ended the same way. A beautiful presentation. A stunning 3D rendering. A quote that took their breath away.

$125,000
For a simple rectangle. To start.
$225,000
Minimum, for an infinity edge over the lake.
$350,000
A neighbor's project. Years of waiting. One fired contractor.

They walked away without a pool.

The experience stayed with them.

True South Pools is the company they wished they'd found.

The Mission Binder

Every True South customer receives a complete documentation package at handoff — build photos at every phase, stamped plans, material specs and warranties, equipment-pad walkthrough, and a maintenance schedule. Aviation-grade documentation, applied to your backyard. It's the kind of record most pool companies don't keep — and don't deliver.

Design & Business Operations

Nicole restored The Twelve Oaks — an 1826 Georgia mansion turned bed-and-breakfast, featured by Southern Living as one of America's top inns. She knows what beautiful looks like in Middle Georgia, and she knows the difference between a finish that ages well and one that doesn't.

She sits with you during the consultation — shell shape, gel-coat color, stone selection — and helps you see the pool you're already picturing. She also runs the books.

Note: Nicole is a trusted design eye, not a full backyard designer. For retaining walls, pergolas, outdoor kitchens, and landscaping, we'll point you to people we trust.

Honest Scope

We stay in our lane.

The reason our prices stay where they do is that we don't pretend to be everything. We build pools — finished clean in concrete, or in the Signature stone. We leave you a beautiful, working pool — and we leave stub-outs on every install so the next phase is easy when you're ready.

What We Build
  • Fiberglass inground pools — seventeen models
  • Optional infinity edge on qualified lots
  • The Signature natural-stone finish — coping and deck
  • Standard concrete decks
  • LED lighting, integrated
  • Stub-outs for future expansion
What We Don't
  • Retaining walls
  • Fences
  • Fire pits
  • Outdoor kitchens
  • Pergolas & pool houses
  • Landscaping
  • Waterfalls & rockwork features
  • Backyard master-plan design

For these, we'll recommend trusted partners in the area.

Service Area

Built around the two lakes.

We work primarily across five Central Georgia counties — close enough to your jobsite that the foreman can drive past on his way home, and small enough that we still answer the phone.

Common Questions

The questions everyone asks.

Direct answers. No marketing language. If your question isn't here, call us — we'd rather have the conversation.

How much does an inground pool cost in Middle Georgia?

Our fiberglass pools start at $55,000 for a plunge pool and $65,000 for a full-size swimming pool, with larger and premium models ranging into the $80,000s and $90,000s. Every project gets a written quote on your specific lot before any work begins. No surprise line items, no change-order math.

How long does it take to install an inground pool?

Once your permits are complete and the shell arrives, installation is measured in days — not weeks or months. We hold the timelines we set and tell you up front about anything that could shift them.

Do I need a permit to build a pool on Lake Oconee or Lake Sinclair?

Yes. Permitting requirements vary by county — Baldwin, Greene, Putnam, Jones, and Hancock each have their own setbacks, fencing, and erosion-control rules. We handle the permit process as part of every build, including GSWCC erosion-control compliance for lakeside lots.

Can you build an infinity edge pool on a sloped lakefront lot?

Yes — we offer an optional Infinity Edge Package for qualified lots with a view or slope. The engineering is more involved (excavation, retention, basin work) so we evaluate every lot in person before committing to the design.

How much excavation is included?

All of it, for a standard installation — excavation and backfill on a reasonably level lot with normal access is built into every starting price. Site factors like rock, a high water table, steep grades, or tight access get identified at your free site visit and priced into your written quote before you sign. Never discovered as a mid-build surprise.

What isn't included in the starting price?

Everything a working, beautiful pool needs is included — shell, delivery, installation, excavation, variable-speed pump and filter, two LED lights, chlorine equipment, plumbing and electrical, startup chemicals, concrete coping and deck band, and permit coordination. Genuine upgrades are quoted on top: the Signature natural-stone finish, a heater, salt system, automatic cover, extended decking, water features, and automation. You choose them — they never sneak in.

Can I use my own electrician?

Georgia requires pool electrical work to be performed by a licensed electrician, and we coordinate that as part of every build — it's included, done right, and inspected. If you have a licensed electrician you trust, mention it at the site visit and we'll talk it through.
