2 Lakes. Five Counties.
One Honest Price.
The Promise

Two pools.
Honestly priced.
Finished beautifully.

Most pool companies hand you a catalog and walk you through a 3D rendering before they tell you the price.

We do it the other way around.

Two pools. Two starting prices. Both finished with hand-fit natural stone edging — the detail you'll notice every evening for the next thirty years.

That's the whole offering. By design.

The Two Pools

Curated, not catalog.

We build only two. It keeps the work tight, the timelines honest, and the price within reach of the family that always wanted a pool — and never quite got around to one because the first quote was three times what they pictured.

The Classic — vinyl liner inground pool with custom natural stone edging by True South Pools
Tier One

The Classic

From $45,000

A vinyl-liner inground pool, finished the way most builders won't.

  • Two shape options — Rectangle or Lagoon
  • Premium coping (not the aluminum kit edge)
  • Custom natural stone edging — our signature
  • LED color lighting, standard
  • Standard concrete deck
  • Designer liner pattern, chosen with Nicole's eye

Optional: heater, automatic safety cover.

Starting prices reflect a standard install on a buildable lot. Every project gets a written quote before we touch a shovel — no surprise line items, no change-order math.

Honest Guidance

Which pool is right for you?

Two pools, two different fits. Here's the honest way to think about which one belongs in your backyard.

The Classic — From $45,000

Best for the family who wants a beautiful, real inground pool at the most accessible price — finished in a way that doesn't look budget.

  • Shapes: Rectangle or Lagoon
  • Material: Vinyl liner
  • Install timeline: 6–10 weeks
  • Liner replacement: Every 7–10 years
  • The right call when: Budget is the priority, but cheap-looking isn't an option

Still not sure? Tell us about your project — we'll help you figure it out. No pressure. No sales pitch.

Custom natural stone edging hand-fitted around a True South pool
The Signature Detail

Hand-fit natural stone.
On every pool we build.

Most pool companies finish a vinyl liner with aluminum coping. It's cheaper. It's faster. It also tells the world exactly what you spent.

Every True South pool — Classic or Signature — is edged in custom natural stone, hand-fitted in place. No two installs look identical. It's the line on your pool that says somebody cared.

Why We Exist

A few years ago,
from a Lake Oconee living room.

John and Nicole owned a home on Lake Oconee. They decided to build the pool they'd always wanted. They called every builder in the region.

Every consultation ended the same way. A beautiful presentation. A stunning 3D rendering. A quote that took their breath away.

$125,000
For a simple rectangle. To start.
$225,000
Minimum, for an infinity edge over the lake.
$350,000
A neighbor's project. Years of waiting. One fired contractor.

They walked away without a pool.

The experience stayed with them.

True South Pools is the company they wished they'd found.

The Mission Binder

Every True South customer receives a complete documentation package at handoff — build photos at every phase, stamped plans, material specs and warranties, equipment-pad walkthrough, and a maintenance schedule. Aviation-grade documentation, applied to your backyard. It's the kind of record most pool companies don't keep — and don't deliver.

Design Eye & The Books

Nicole restored The Twelve Oaks — an 1826 Georgia mansion turned bed-and-breakfast, featured by Southern Living as one of America's top inns. She knows what beautiful looks like in Central Georgia, and she knows the difference between a finish that ages well and one that doesn't.

She sits with you during the consultation — shell shape, gel-coat color, stone selection — and helps you see the pool you're already picturing. She also runs the books.

Note: Nicole is a trusted design eye, not a full backyard designer. For retaining walls, pergolas, outdoor kitchens, and landscaping, we'll point you to people we trust.

Honest Scope

We stay in our lane.

The reason our prices stay where they do is that we don't pretend to be everything. We build pools. We finish them in stone. We leave you a beautiful, working pool — and we leave stub-outs on every install so the next phase is easy when you're ready.

What We Build
  • Vinyl liner inground pools (The Classic)
  • Fiberglass inground pools (The Signature)
  • Optional infinity edge on qualified lots
  • Custom natural stone edging on every install
  • Standard concrete decks
  • LED lighting, integrated
  • Stub-outs for future expansion
What We Don't
  • Retaining walls
  • Fences
  • Fire pits
  • Outdoor kitchens
  • Pergolas & pool houses
  • Landscaping
  • Waterfalls & rockwork features
  • Backyard master-plan design

For these, we'll recommend trusted partners in the area.

Common Questions

The questions everyone asks.

Direct answers. No marketing language. If your question isn't here, call us — we'd rather have the conversation.

How much does an inground pool cost in Central Georgia?

Our Classic vinyl liner pool starts at $45,000 and our Signature fiberglass pool starts at $75,000 — both finished with custom natural stone edging. Every project gets a written quote on your specific lot before any work begins. No surprise line items, no change-order math.

How long does it take to install an inground pool?

It depends on the build. The Signature fiberglass pool installs in days once the shell arrives. The Classic vinyl liner pool typically takes 6–10 weeks from dig to swim. Either way, we hold the timelines we set — and tell you up front about anything that could shift them.

What's the difference between fiberglass and vinyl liner pools?

Vinyl liner pools (The Classic) have the lowest entry cost but require liner replacement every 7–10 years. Fiberglass pools (The Signature) cost more up front, but the manufacturer-backed shell carries a 50-year structural warranty, installs faster, and has the lowest lifetime maintenance. Both are real inground pools — neither one looks like a budget pool when we finish it in stone.

Do I need a permit to build a pool on Lake Oconee or Lake Sinclair?

Yes. Permitting requirements vary by county — Baldwin, Greene, Putnam, Jones, and Hancock each have their own setbacks, fencing, and erosion-control rules. We handle the permit process as part of every build, including GSWCC erosion-control compliance for lakeside lots.

Can you build an infinity edge pool on a sloped lakefront lot?

Yes — the Signature fiberglass pool has an optional Infinity Edge Package for qualified lots with a view or slope. The engineering is more involved (excavation, retention, basin work) so we evaluate every lot in person before committing to the design.
